Plan your day

Your whole day, on one page.

See what you want to do beside the meetings already in your calendar. Drag a task into a gap and give it some time.

Today this is spread across

A to-do app for the tasks. A calendar for the meetings. A notes app for whatever came up in between. By ten in the morning you have checked all three and still missed something.

In Nested List
  • Open today. One page per day, one tap away. Yesterday is one swipe back.
  • Give a task a time.Drag it onto the timeline and it becomes a block. Drag the block when the day changes.
  • See your meetings alongside.Connect Google Calendar and today’s events appear on the same timeline. Nothing goes into your calendar unless you add it.
  • Carry things forward.Move an item to tomorrow or next week from its menu. Nothing nags you as “overdue”.

Block time by dragging a task onto your day.

The list says what; the timeline says when. Drag a task across and the day fills up with real blocks next to your meetings, so you can see what does not fit before it is too late.

Drop a task on the timeline and it gets a half-hour block. Drag the block to move it, its edges to resize it; the task stays in the list.

Drag a task onto the timeline to block time for it.

Dated anywhere, found on the day.

Write “Thu, Sep 17” into a project line and it shows up on Thursday’s page under Elsewhere, editable in place. The plan stays in the project; the day still sees it.

Type a date into any line and it becomes a chip. The day’s page lists every line that carries it.

A milestone from the project and a journal entry, both showing up on today.

Finished things get out of the way.

Tick off a task and the page shows only what is left. When you want the full picture, one click shows everything you did.

⌘Enter completes an item; it fades, then hides. The eye icon brings completed items back.

The record is there when you need it.

Everything on your mind, in one place.

Open Nested List, type your first line, and put the next thought under it. That is the whole setup.
